Big News!! I’ve been working for quite some time to get a quality painting class for this special spot on the Italian Riviera and it’s HERE! 🎨
Artist Pamela Wingard from Barefoot Studios invites you to paint with her on the Italian Riviera! We will begin our adventure with a night in Florence to soak up the birthplace of the Renaissance and then head to Liguria with a stop in Portofino!

Musée Nissim de Camondo Part Duex. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share the “downstairs” of this beautiful home. If you saw Downton Abbey, you got a glimpse of life in the downstairs in these fine homes, this home did not disappoint. From the staff dining room to the amazing stoves and ovens, the dumb waiters and the food prep areas, one can only imagine the daily work. I loved the little office of the “staff manager” Again, put this on your list the next time you are in Paris.
A little more history: After the death of his son Nissim during World War I, de Camondo decided to donate his property in memory of his son. During World War II, the Comte lost the remaining of his family in a concentration camp.

When I first met with @athomewithashley about leading a trip to Paris for her and a group of friends/followers, she mentioned that she wanted to see home interiors. As an interior designer, she had been drawn to The Musée Nissim de Camondo in Paris. I had never heard of it, but after reading about it, was SO excited to visit. The history is deep and has a sad ending (google it) but is it spectacularly preserved and SO very beautiful. Put it on your list next time in Paris ❤️
